Pastor Kim was the head pastor of a local church in a small town Yong In. While praying one night, he saw the map of China open in front of his eyes. Inside the map there was many people in China who were praying with tears in their eyes. He left Korea to become a missionary during the fall of 1991.

 
 

About Us

Pastor Kim & his wife’s journey started almost 30 years ago in 1991 when they left Korea to follow God’s calling to become missionaries. They served in the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Taiwan, US and now currently serving in Myanmar.

Pastor Kim has served in mainland China until 1996, and moved to Taiwan serving till 2002. He moved to Los Angeles starting a house church in the city of Monterey Park serving the Chinese Immigrant community. This area of L.A. has the highest density of Chinese immigrants in the United States. In 2008 he once again went to China to serve in Wen Zhou. He is currently serving in Myanmar since 2018, opening Emmanuel Mission Center in La-Shio, housing, feeding, teaching children from neighboring areas.

A free copy of his book, Seed Sower, is available on this website in Korean and Simplified Chinese. His hope for making it available for free is so believers may be bless and convicted to take up the torch and further the Kingdom of God. There are plans for an english version of the book, but is currently unavailable.

Pastor Kim graduated from Han-Shin University in 1984 and was ordained in 1987. He attended Ching Hwa University in Bei-Jing, studying Philosophy, and studied his Master’s of Divinity in Mandarin from Tai Chung Theological Seminary in Taiwan. In 2005 he graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary, receiving his Doctor of Ministry.
